Reed Finance are currently partnered with a growing organisation in the Horsham area who are seeking Finance Manager to join their expanding finance team. As Finance Manager this role encompasses management accounting, credit control, and billing functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organisational and time management skills. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the company's rapid growth through active involvement in annual audits, acquisition activities, and strategic financial analysis.
Day to day duties of Finance manager will include:
- Monitor cash flow and conduct forecasting.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial due diligence for acquisitions.
- Support external finance relationships, including auditors and banks.
- Oversee debt reporting and collaborate with the credit control team on collection strategies.
- Lead the billing process and manage the purchase ledger close.
- Support the monthly reporting process and present findings to the Senior Management Team (SMT).
- Lead financial onboarding for share or asset purchases.
- Conduct monthly management accounts reviews and reporting.
- Lead the annual financial audit and approve payment runs.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support the Finance Director and SMT.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- IT literate with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Ideally qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Experience with Sage 200 is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, pro-active, and personable, able to integrate into a dynamic team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- A good sense of humour and a team player.
