The Job:

  • You'll join as a Purchase Ledger Operator.
  • You'll be responsible for providing systems support to the wider Purchase Ledger team.
  • You will monitor the document management system daily to ensure that stuck invoices are put through to be paid on time.
  • If any invoices are found to be unprocessed, you'll investigate why - no PO number, no original quoted price from operations etc. - and manually update.
  • Any customers who pay via Direct Debit, their invoices will automatically lodge and so you'll need to process it through the system manually in order for the payment to go through on time.
  • Full training will be given.

About You:

  • You don't need to have a background in finance or accounting, but you should have some administrative experience.
  • You'll not be looking for a traditional finance role; this is an administrative support position.
  • You'll be a confident communicator and a genuine team player.
  • Manchester based and commutable to Wythenshawe.
