Your new role
This is a new Transactional Claims Analyst job working as part of a wider team. The Transactional Claims Analyst is responsible for the accurate calculation and processing of transactional items. The Transactional Claims Team provides transactional processing services for various divisions of the organisation, calculating and processing all types of contracts and claims. The Transactional Claims Team also provides processing support for the Operations teams. Duties will be varied and include but not limited to
- Calculate and process inwards transactional claims and contracts accurately.
- Assist with queries from other teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with the team's internal customers via the appropriate method.
- Process requests for letter of credit creation, increases, withdrawals and cancellations.
- Provide process and claims support to other business units to improve efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will require:
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel
- Good working knowledge of different classes of insurance and reinsurance business
- Analytical ability
- Ability to work effectively in a process-driven team environment
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Highly organised and professional approach to work
- Comprehension of French, German, Spanish or Portuguese is desirable.
- A self-starter with the ability to meet and adapt to new challenges.
