Company Overview - Works Manager
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team in the position of Works Manager. You will oversee the daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that all manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong background in production management, health and safety compliance, and hands-on experience on the shop floor.

Works Manager - Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing floor to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and manage the production team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Ensure effective use of materials, equipment, and manpower to meet production goals.
- Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work alongside the engineering team to assemble and test pumps, engines, and related components.
- Supervise and assist in welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
Works Manager - Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Works Manager or similar, within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production management, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Hands-on experience, proficient in welding.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
