Are you looking to join a growing independent pharmacy group with branches across the North of England?

Our client is seeking a service-driven and professional GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to join their branch in Southport (PR8). This is a Distance Selling Pharmacy, with a retail unit.

The Pharmacist Manager will run the pharmacy efficiently and effectively, providing first-class services to patients in the community, alongside leading a dynamic team of Dispensers and Delivery Drivers.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (with 1 hour for lunch).

Salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 DOE + pension contribution, bonus scheme, free onsite parking and more!

Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist, ideally with at least 3 years' post qualification experience.
  • Experience of managing and leading a team.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and run the pharmacy effectively.
  • Customer-focussed Pharmacist who enjoys delivering excellent services.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager

  • Dispensing Prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations. Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP's orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles and prescribing errors.
  • Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
  • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Dispenser's workflow, verifying their preparation and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
  • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
