Advanced Practitioner - Trafford Council, Greater Manchester - Children with Disabilities Team - £40ph!

We are looking for an Advanced Practitioner who has experience working with children with complex needs and disabilities, ideally with DOLs experience. There will be a small number of allocations for the AP in Trafford with the core of the work supporting the Practice Managers and the team and leading on different areas including DOLs.

Trafford Children with Complex Needs Service (CwD) is looking for an advanced practitioner to join its specialist social work team based in Sale. The AP will have a small caseload of complex children and will also work alongside the Practice Manager to support the team, undertaking joint visits, chairing strategy meetings or other complex MDTs. We are looking for someone with significant experience working with disabled children and ideally the successful applicant will have experience working with DOLs.

The Trafford Complex Needs Service consists of two teams, a social work team and the short breaks team, who are co-located and work closely together. There are two Practice Managers and a dedicated Head of Service, and the service is also co-located with a range of specialist health services.
