We are currently seeking a proactive, innovative, and strategic Brand Manager to join our Subway Team at Asda Express!

As the Head of the brand, you will play a key role in representing our brand, leading initiatives to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement effective brand strategies that resonate with our diverse customer base.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership and management acumen to motivate, inspire and retain team members, driving a positive working environment and culture.
  • Exhibit commercial awareness and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making and optimise business performance.
  • Oversee all business operations to meet and exceed customer expectations while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits, monitor outputs, and perform data analysis.
  • Creating a culture where well-being matters and good performance is rewarded and recognised.
  • Manage resources efficiently, nurture relationships with stakeholders, and address customer service concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Spearhead budget planning initiatives to allocate resources and optimise financial performance.
  • Attend quarterly business review meetings to provide insights, contribute to strategic discussions, and align organisational objectives with business goals.
  • Reporting to senior management and evaluating the efficiency of the business and its operations.
  • Developing and implementing operational policies, standards, and procedures for the organisation.
  • Review Regional Manager performance to ensure our people are supported and developed to reach their full potential by conducting regular one to one reviews in addition to the quarterly reviews.
  • Manage grievance and disciplinary cases in line with company policy and under the guidance of HR.
  • Addressing operational issues and working to solve them in an effective and timely manner.
  • Track and report on operational performance weekly.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold a UK Driver's License.
  • Extensive experience in an operational role within the food service industry.
  • Flexible for regular travel and overnight stays.
  • Demonstrate advanced IT skills and knowledge of using tools and systems effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with various stakeholders.
  • Display a high level of competence in planning and organising tasks, resources, and timelines to ensure smooth workflow and successful project completion.
  • Obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects efficiently, while meeting objectives and delivering quality results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks based on importance and urgency.
