HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Noise & Vibration Specialist to work on HS2, with the opportunity to represent a large scale construction company, who are at the forefront of construction throughout the UK and Europe.
The role will be focused on implementing noise & vibration investigations, assurances and assessing compliance requirements within the Construction Environmental & Sustainability function.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assurance of all construction noise and vibration deliverables.
- Investigations and responses in respect of noise and vibration complaints/incidents.
- Assessing compliance with Environmental Minimum Requirements, S61 consents, Undertakings & Assurances and relevant contract technical requirements.
- Offering and arranging noise insulation or temporary rehousing for properties which are eligible (and take up the offers).
- Providing evidence in relation to construction noise and vibration for verification, validation and technical assurance reviews.
Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Corporate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics.
- Organised, proactive and adaptable.
- A sound understanding of noise and vibration Environmental Impact Assessment process, environmental legislation, impact mitigation and dealing with statutory authorities.
- Practical experience mitigating construction noise and vibration from major infrastructure schemes.
- Experience of managing construction noise and vibration risks and their impacts in terms of time, costs and reputation.
- Understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome for the project
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experience.
