Acorn Education are hiring a Children's Residential Manager in the Shropshire region.
Role: Registered Manager (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £50,000.00 per annum - pro rata
Hours: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract as Maternity Cover (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Essential: A Full UK Driving Licence plus access to own vehicle and the Right to Work in the UK

- Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per annum
Our next Registered Manager will be someone who has:
- Level 5 Diploma - Leadership and Management Children's and Young People (Preferred or willing to work towards)
- Level 3 Diploma - Residential Childcare (Preferred or willing to work towards)
- Full UK Driving Licence required plus access to own vehicle
- Extensive experience of working in a residential setting
- High level of working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children's Act and Quality Care Standards
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups

Our registered independent accommodation offers support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
Brookfield Place accommodation has a capacity of 3. We support Young People from the ages of 13 to 15 to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.
This accommodation is based in Shrewsbury and is within commuting distance Telford, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch (Shropshire) and surrounds.
