Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Business Analyst are;
- Analyse and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with transition of data from the old environment to the new Professional Services Automation systems.
- Assist with weekly business reports analysing chargeable time, revenue, revenue per hour, staff utilisation and capacity and similar monthly reporting for the board packs.
- Assist with analysing the WIP balances, recoverability and trends. Ensuring reconciliations of all WIP on a monthly basis.
- Help develop client profitability reporting and service line profitability
- Assist with Budget process for revenue and contribution reporting.
- Produce forecasting on a rolling quarterly basis
- Build relationships across the business with Partners and senior consultants to be able to effectively challenge and support all areas of the business.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- High quality financial modelling and Excel skills. Use of Power BI or equivalent reporting tools
- A highly commercial outlook, comfortable focusing on enhancing performance and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and margin improvement
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
