Senior Ledgers Manager - Solihull + Hybrid - £42,000 - £50,000

This is a great role taking responsibility for the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions, as well as Credit Control. You will manage a total team of 8 and be someone experienced in all areas of Sales Ledger and Credit Control, as well as able to take responsibility for the Purchase Ledger team. Taking responsibility for key accounts, you will lead a highly capable team to ensure efficiency and delivery with the the ledgers. You will be good with systems and able to produce reports in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger teams
  • Ensuring effective Credit Control
  • Excellent communication and team leadership
  • Reporting on KPIs in Excel
  • Working with and liaising with other members of the finance team
  • Resolving all queries effectively and leading from the front with Key Clients
  • Performing robust reviews of the Ledgers to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Monitoring credit risk

The successful candidate will be someone who has a Sales Ledger Manager / Credit Manager background and is able to successfully lead a small team to ensure effective management of the AR / AP / CC function. An excellent communicator, both with internal stakeholders and external clients, and someone who effectively leads from the front and resolves issues.
