Senior HR Business Partner

I am delighted to work with a maufacturing organisation in the Midlands to recruit a Regional Senior HR Business Partner. You will be responsible for HR across a number of sites in the Midlands and South, acting as a trusted partner to the leadership teams, providing a professional and value-add service to your customers.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Providing a proactive generalist HR service including: employee relations, communications, resourcing, people development, performance management and reward.
  • Working alongside the management teams to identify high potential employees and agreeing development plans that link to the strategy and succession plans.
  • Driving change and challenging key managers.
  • Agreeing plans for short & long-term change and leading the delivery as appropriate.
  • Partnering with other areas of the business & leaders to deliver HR projects.
  • Consulting and negotiating with the union for pay and any changes, ensuring effective employee relations are maintained.

This role is a superb opportunity for a credible and commercially-minded HR Business Partner with experience as an HR generalist in a multi-site role. You will be part of the broader UK HR team and report to a very credible and supportive Head of HR, with scope for involvement in wider people projects.

The ability to build sound relationships as well as challenge and influence the SLT and management team is key, as well as the resilience and flexibility to adapt different approaches and build relationships with a broad variety of people. You will also have proven ability to balance strategy with operational demands and drive change.

This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future success of HR within a hugely successful business. You will have worked within a fast-paced environment ideally within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, services or similar.

Salary offered is up to £65,000 (dep on exp) plus car allowance and bonus. This role is classed as home-working with regular, weekly travel to the sites which you will manage accordingly.
