A well-established organisation is looking for an accomplished IT Infrastructure Manager to join its team based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Please note that this is an office-based role and the chosen candidate is required to be in the office 5 days per week.
In this role of significant responsibility, you will lead and manage the IT support team and provide specialist Cloud knowledge and expertise, as well as 3 rd line support for complex problems. You will shape, develop and manage the IT infrastructure strategy ensuring that a highly effective support service is provided to the business.
You will ensure all IT issues are logged and correctly allocated; you will also communicate IT policies to all users, dealing with any breaches. You will be responsible for running weekly/monthly helpdesk reports as well as managing and maintaining backup servers and systems, ensuring daily and weekly backups are completed successfully and stored securely.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have a proven record of successfully managing teams, including goal setting and performance management. You must have experience of providing 2 nd /3 rd line support to users by investigating complex problems and implementing solutions.
