ELS Recruitment - Accounting Professionals are pleased to be supporting an SME Professional Advisory Consultancy in their search for a Finance Manager to support the Managing Director.
My client is owned by a large group, so the role is supported at Group level by a qualified Accountant where month-end final numbers are sent to.
The role of Finance Manager is responsible for the end-to-end financial management of this well run £3m turnover organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Preparing and presenting finance report at parent company finance meetings and board meetings
- HMRC submissions and payments (PAYE&NI/CIS/VAT)
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Weekly cashflow management
- Reconciliation and monitoring of Lloyds bank account and credit card
- Fortnightly credit control and debtors' management
- Day to day bookkeeping on Xero
- Processing supplier invoices
- Weekly payment runs for supplier invoices
- Assisting with year-end audits
- Liaising with group accountants as part of the annual audit process
- Reviewing year-end tax computations
- Management of balance sheet and profit and loss
- Preparation of annual budget
The role of Finance Manager is 25 hours a week and can be worked around school hours, so ideal for working parents. You will either be AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Salary is £40,000 - £45,000 FTE and will be pro rated down to 25 hours.
