Academics are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and dedicated History Teacher for a long term position at one of our client secondary schools in Chester. This is a full-time role starting in September 2024 and will be on-going.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and comprehensive History lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will need to foster a positive learning environment that encourages students' academic and personal growth whilst also collaborating with other members of the department to create a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
What you will need to work as a History Teacher with Academics:
- A recognised teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience of teaching History up to GCSE
- Strong knowledge and passion for History, with the ability to inspire and motivate your students
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one (cost applied)
