- Community Mental Health Team for Older People
- Community Mental Health Service for Older People is a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals including social workers, psychiatric nurses and psychiatrists.
- The team offers specialist secondary mental health care for adults living with dementia and people over 65years with mental health problems.
- The team works alongside specialist NHS services to support people to live well and safely in their own communities through the provision of recovery focussed care and treatment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in statutory social work functions, including safeguarding and support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
- Commitment to promoting social change, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and maximising independence.
