Reed Education, a leading education recruitment agency, is looking for a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Wakefield. This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to the educational journey of Year 2 students.
Day to Day of the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons tailored to Year 2 students.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the varying needs of each student.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and maintain a nurturing atmosphere.
- Organise classroom resources and assist in the preparation of teaching materials.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Promote positive behaviour and support the holistic development of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with primary-aged students, particularly in Year 2, is desirable.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to the educational development of children.
- Phonics experience, ideally Read Write Ink.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to obtain one.
