Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Forwarding Import Operator who has experience with dealing with Road and Airfreight shipments. The company are a well-established privately owned Freight Forwarder based in the Slough area.
An experienced Import person to deal with all aspects of our import operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import process, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery (fully hands on).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations, including customs.
- Stay up to date on changes in customs regulations
- Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import declarations, permits, licenses, and certificates of origin.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding import shipments.
Key Skills:-

- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of CDS and Customer knowledge is essential.
