Our client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of their clubhouse bar. This role requires flexibility, as it involves working evenings and weekends.
Job Description:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar/clubhouse
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked and operational
- Manage bar inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene behind the bar
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
- Create and maintain weekly staff schedules with the General Manager
- Address customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Thoroughly clean clubhouse facilities every Monday
- Plan and coordinate with General Manager club events and functions.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and work ethic.
- Motivate and manage a team of bar staff.
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience as a bar manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and stand for extended periods.
Working hours:
- Monday: 4 hours (flexible on start - finish)
- Tuesday: 5pm - 10:30pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: DAY OFF
- Friday: 5pm - 9:30pm
- Saturday: 8am - 4pm
- Sunday: 8am - 5pm
Additional Information:
- Based in Leatherhead
- Up to £30,000
- Onsite parking
- Manage the bar every Saturday and Sunday during open hours.
