Overview:

Stella McCartney Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Windows & VM Designer to join our team, reporting directly to the Store Architecture & VM Director.In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating and visually appealing displays in our retail, wholesale and franchise spaces globally, ensuring they effectively communicate our brand's message and enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve designing, managing, and executing window rollouts, in-store visual merchandising, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales and brand recognition worldwide.

Your Mission:

  • Conceptualise, design, and execute captivating and innovative window displays that align with the brand's identity.
  • Provide suppliers with detailed production packs and artwork.
  • Discuss with local suppliers and regional VM Managers to ensure consistency on production across the business.
  • Manage design projects for VM and window displays across Retail, Wholesale and Franchise stores.
  • Present project concepts through mood boards and research packs.
  • Build close relationships with marketing, commercial teams to ensure smooth running of all projects.
  • Build a strong with relationship with the Head of facilities, to ensure all formal H&S procedures are followed, reviewing all design proposals with them to ensure all design proposals comply.
  • Research new, innovative materials and production techniques.
  • Support with event design layouts.
  • Responsible for prop maintenance and global inventories.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties and projects.

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation of ideas.
  • Awareness of trends and ability to produce innovative, on brand designs.
  • Ability to work under pressure with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work within budget and short timelines.
  • Confident, proactive, self-motivated and forward thinking.
  • Strong project management and organisation skills.
  • Ad-hoc travel when required.

Systems and Essentials:

  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Vectorworks / Sketch-up
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Relevant degree within VM or Design
