Our client is a Limited mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. It is operated by a British retailer, using the network O2 as its carrier.
This role sits in the central Analytics & Insight Chapter and supports our I Choose & I Love Tribes to understand our customers and provide insights and actionable recommendations that help to achieve our business objectives.
The role will require a solid understanding of SQL and technical skills, so that you are able to mine internal data and provide highly actionable insight to the business.
You will work very closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives and then implement appropriate solutions. The role also requires close collaboration with fellow data analysts and a strong understanding of our business fundamentals.
You will be strong at relationship building and communication to ensure that briefs are stress tested to provide maximum value to customers. Presenting findings expertly and influencing stakeholders will also be a key focus.
Our client has recently undergone a transformation and moved to an Agile business, as part of this way of working you will search out and implement opportunities for the Data, Analytics and Insight Chapter to increase its impact in the organisation.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:
- Receive and develop briefs from Product Owners and work collaboratively to ensure work of the highest quality.
- Belong to a squad responsible for end-to-end delivery of a product to deliver value.
- Bring your individual expertise to the squad to deliver at pace using short cycles of experimentation with a 'fail-fast-learn-fast' attitude.
- Participate in all squad ceremonies and events, raising impediments as soon as identified to facilitate delivery.
- Inspect and adapt your way of working for continuous improvement.
- Embody an Agile mindset and culture to contribute to the growth in agile maturity of our business.
- Be an autonomous, trusted decision maker able to self-organise, using your knowledge and expertise to deliver the right solution for the customer.
- Provide accurate, insightful, and timely analysis to the business to help them make better decisions and enable us to serve its customers a little better every day.
- Ability to simplify the complex and generate precise insights then communicate them clearly.
- Be a trusted insight advisor to selected squads across the business as the need arises, develop business knowledge together and identify new opportunities to deliver insight.
- Continually look to improve processes through efficiencies and by applying best practice.
- Continuously acting with integrity and due diligence
- Combine internal data with with other data sources to provide a holistic view.
- Challenge the stakeholders and the business backlogs to focus work around the areas that really matter.
- Actively add to the Squads backlog with work that would benefit customers.
- Steer the agenda and be a trusted partner for work.
- Coaching and mentoring mastery to up-skill more junior members of the chapter
