Head of Commercial Property Solicitor
A well-established law practice in the heart of Bristol is looking to grow its family law team with an experienced practitioner. Founded in Bristol, this law firm has expanded to two offices, serving both business and individual clients throughout England and Wales.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate and at least 7 years PQE.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial property law, including complex residential and commercial property matters.
- Strong document drafting skills.
- Commercial acumen and ability to engage with clients at all levels.
- Proven experience in team management and effective delegation.
- Marketing experience and familiarity with management information.
- Professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and good keyboard skills.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services
- Provide expert legal services in complex commercial property matters.
- Address client inquiries promptly.
Business Planning and Team Management
- Contribute to the firm's business strategy and develop departmental objectives aligned with firm goals.
- Guide, supervise, and coach team members to ensure effective performance.
- Oversee work quality of fee earners and support staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
Team Coordination and Development
- Hold regular team meetings to discuss progress.
- Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities and business initiatives.
- Share and implement strategies to enhance client service.
Client Care and Legal Updates
- Maintain high standards of client care, acting in their best interests.
- Stay updated on legislation, preparing and communicating briefings internally.
Technology, Training, and Safety
- Continuously improve technology for efficient practices.
- Assist in staff training as needed.
- Ensure team health and safety, reporting any risks promptly.
