JOB- Graduate Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION- Halstead, Essex
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures bespoke mechanical products. They are looking for a Graduate Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Essex on a permanent basis.
The Graduate Maintenance Engineer
will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree BSc / BEng qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Passion for engineering and happy to work in a "hands on" role
- Have the ability to carry out mechanical calculations
- Any previous experience working with machinery and automated systems would be beneficial
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Be keen to develop with a company long term
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office
The Graduate Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Maintaining and servicing mechanical equipment
- Fault finding on machinery
- Liaising with manufacturing providers
- Inputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMs
- Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
