We are partnered with a well established, growing, ambitious home furnishings retailer created in Liverpool but with customers nationwide and internationally.

They are looking to bring in their first on site HR team member to support all areas of the business as they continue to grow and expand. You will be an experienced HR professional with experience of working in a stand-alone role supporting across all areas of HR.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing performance appraisals, reporting on KPIs, developing and implementing HR policies, and leading recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. You will also play a pivotal role in handling employee relations and ensuring a positive workplace culture.

Reporting in to the COO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business across multiple areas and teams and there is a huge opportuity to make an impact and grow your career.

With a workforce of 70 and exciting plans for growth you will be instrumental to their people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance management & appraisals
  • Recruitment, onboarding & exiting employees
  • Reporting on performance
  • Policy creation & implementation
  • Employee relations.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Proven experience in HR, including performance management and employee relations
  • Strong communication & organisational skills.
