Music and Drama Teacher
Reed are recruiting for a full time teacher of Music and Drama in Huddersfield.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and inspirational in the classroom and will make a substantial contribution to the further development of this ‘good' school in January 2025 or sooner, working 4 days per week (combined role teaching both drama and music) or 2 days (teaching either drama or music) There is potential this position may turn permanent for the right candidate.
This role will involve teaching Key stage 3 Music and Drama and could potentially involve some GCSE teaching. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected in this role, but there is a large amount of resources available on the shared system that will be available for the successful candidate.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience teaching Music and Drama to KS3 students
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the full CV History
- Legal right to work in the UK
