A Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is required for our client based in Manchester. This is a hybrid position, therefore please only apply if local to Manchester.
Requirements;
Excellent understanding of database infrastructure, maintenance, administration and design
A deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Experience of Cloud database deployments on Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed instance would be beneficial
Experience in troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues that involve database infrastructure
Experience with Power BI would be beneficial
Ability to complete database infrastructure installations and upgrades
Ability to research new or alternative database technologies
Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with outside agencies, customers and team members
