Job Title: Senior Town Planner

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:
My client, who specialise in providing comprehensive planning services, is looking for a Senior Planner to join their ever-growing team in Cornwall! As part of the Planning team, the successful candidate will facilitate development projects across a wide variety of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Educational, Heritage, and Commercial. Some key aspects of my client's work are planning consultancy, pre-application advice, planning applications and appeals. This is a great opportunity for experienced Planners to join an employee-focussed consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion.
- Provide expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals.
- Conduct site appraisals, research, and analysis to inform planning strategies.
- Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
- Working towards Chartership with the RTPI or MRTPI status.
- 3 - 5 years' experience within the industry.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage workload and time frames.
- A proactive approach with a passion for sustainable development and urban design.
