Well established family business based in Ipswich requires a full-time temporary HR Administrator to join their small/friendly HR Department. The opportunity is to assist the department during a busy time and is likely to lead to a permanent opportunity. The successful applicant will provide an efficient, effective and confidential human resource service to the company and include the following duties:
- Assist with day-to-day administration, such as preparation of scheduled/ad-hoc letters/files, copying, filing etc.
- Set up/maintain all HR records accurately e.g. personnel database, training matrix, sickness absence and annual leave etc.
- Process annual leave/other leave applications
- Complete administration tasks for new starters/leavers including pre-employment checks, update leaver records
- Assist the Security Vetting Administrator with queries regarding the national security vetting check
- Monitor the Company's recruitment mailbox and respond to applicants/candidates in a timely manner
Experience of working in Human Resources, have undertaken or be undertaking some formal HR training would be an advantage however, we welcome applicants with transferable experience/skills.
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Duration: ASAP start, with no fixed end date. Potential permanent opportunity
