Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Location: Stanmore
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Join our esteemed client, a leading firm of chartered certified accountants, in an exciting role. They are in search of a self-sufficient, highly organised individual who can handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal and company tax returns.
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of clients' accounts, tax returns, audits, and other compliance activities.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Portfolio management expertise
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Xero
- Good tax knowledge
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring all tasks and projects are completed within set deadlines
- Communication with clients via email, phone, or written correspondence
- Timely handling of incoming queries
- Preparation of company and personal tax returns
- Communicating with HMRC and resolving tax queries
- Handling and managing work from outsourcers.
- Support and maintain relationships with a client portfolio as their primary contact
