My client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a talented Graudate Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Bristol. Working as a Graduate Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to participate in large commercial, residential, office and public projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and analyzing structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Perform structural calculations and analysis using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ensure that designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor the progress and ensure compliance with design plans.
  • Support senior engineers in project management tasks.

Qualifications and Skills for this Graduate Structural Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities for this Graduate Structural Engineer:

  • Analysing structural faults and updating all drawings and documentations
  • Structural surveying and report writing
  • Working with Assistant/Graduate Engineers / supporting Project Engineers, Technicians and Technical staff.
  • Site visits
