SEN Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher with a passion for education and a deep commitment to the learning and development of children with special educational needs. This role is based in the vibrant community of Hounslow and requires a candidate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous SEN experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with a range of SEN requirements.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that recognises and nurtures the individual strengths and needs of each child.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students with different learning abilities.
- Assess and record each student's progress, adapting teaching methods to suit their needs.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the students' education and wellbeing.
- Participate in school meetings and events, and engage in continuous professional development to further enhance your teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience working with SEN children.
- Strong understanding of the SEN code of practice and educational frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a compassionate approach to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
