Trainee Mortgage Advisor

My client is a dynamic and fast-growing fee-free mortgage broker based in Cannock, Staffordshire. They over access to over 74 lenders to find the most suitable mortgage for their financial needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the Mortgage Industry, or someone who is already in the industry for a company that will support them to becoming a qualified Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

You will have the exciting opportunity to:

  • Liaise with customers, taking information and assessing them financially
  • Give an overview of mortgages and products available to the client
  • Work closely with National House Builders to create a tailor-made package suitable for the client's needs.

Overall Responsibility

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. You will work in a busy environment, answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to provide information on mortgage-related queries. This is the perfect start to your advising career, with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the industry. This is before starting your CeMAP exams. Once qualified, we have numerous adviser opportunities within the business to help you take your career to the next level.

Experience

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ideally, a sales background

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and the drive to go above and beyond to secure business. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to its continued growth and development. A finance background is not necessary; all training and guidance will be provided to help you succeed.

Working hours

We believe in a healthy work-life balance. We offer a flexible working pattern, and the office is open 7 days a week, allowing you to work when it suits you best. You will work 2 weekends out of 4, both Saturday and Sunday, and you will have 2 days off during the week. Working hours are:

  • 10.30am-6.30pm Mon-Fri
  • 10.30 am-6 pm Fri
  • 10 am-5.30 pm weekends
