Position Overview:
Kay Coffee Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manger to join our team in Sudbury The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our service team with a focus on creating the best customer experience within our restaurant. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of staff training and management in the catering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training staff to perform allocated roles
- Managing inventory
- Assisting customers with any queries or requests
- Administering pay slips to staff
- Analysing the restaurant's sales levels and profitability and creating and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales goals
- Organizing marketing activities such as discount themes and promotional events on and off-site
- Assisting head chefs in planning and coordinating restaurant menus keeping trend and competition information in mind.
- planning catering services
- deciding on range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided and discussing customer's requirements for special occasions
- purchasing required supplies and arranging for preparation of accounts
- verifying the quality of food, beverages
Minimum Requirements:
A degree or a relevant education and training in Business Administration, Event Management, or Catering.
Experience in staff management and sales, preferably in the food industry or related sectors.
Languages: Advanced proficiency in English is required.
