Job Purpose
- Autonomously manage a diverse client portfolio, monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
- Deliver advisory services including M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, exit planning etc.
- Undertake technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team
- Support business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services
- Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Keep up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team

The Successful Applicant
- ATT / CTA qualified or part-qualified
- Qualified by experience within UK practice would also be considered
- Experience in personal tax, VAT and Stamp Duty desirable, but not essential
- Technically efficient across taxation
- Supervisory experience with good people management skills
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to manage projects autonomously
- Commercial business acumen
