Are you passionate about Quantity Surveying? Great so is my client!

Quantity Surveyor required for the UK's leading partitioning specialist. The successful Quantity Surveyor will have responsibility for all commercial aspects on a number of projects, particularly income and expenditure to maximise profit margins and monitor budgets. Typical size projects from £150k to £1M

Operational Area

  • UK SE & SW, London

Main Responsibilities:

  • Checking projects Contracts
  • Measurement of project to check quantities against tender allowances
  • Preparation of tender documents for any sub contract works and specialist suppliers
  • Set budgets for, and raise payments, for subcontract labour
  • Manage variations as they occur
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts with parameters set by Line Manager
  • Prepare monthly Cost Value Reports.

Experience

  • A Quantity Surveyor from a Façade, glazing, Dry Lining, metal work, roofing/cladding, joinery or any similar specialist sub-contractor industry background would be preferred.
  • Working knowledge of JCT suite of contracts with and without Design Portion, D&B, and Fixed Price and any NEC form of contracts
  • Maybe a Quantity Surveyor working within the Fit-Out, Refurbishment or Interiors industry.

Essentials

  • You are a Quantity Surveyor and are still passionate about your role!
  • Eligible to work full time within the UK
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Live within 1-hour commuting distance to High Wycombe.
  • 3 years working experience as a quantity surveying at intermediate level
  • Head Office based between 3 to 5 days a week

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction related subject or equivalent level or equivalent industry experience
  • CSCS Card holder (Preferable)
