Description
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Detailed costs and revenue drivers
- Process and manage tax payments
- Organize and support internal and external audits
- Support budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential System and processes
- Analyze financial trends
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Develop and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
- Process payments and track expenses and revenues.
- Work closely with the accounting team to develop and implement financial systems and processes.
- Use accounting software to accurately record, store and analyse financial data.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Profile
The successful candidate should have:
- Studying their professional accounting qualifications - either ACCA or CIMA
- Demonstrable experience in a similar financial role within a relevant sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
