My client, a privately owned freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an Air Import Clerk to join its small, busy, sociable team.
SALARY:
- Negotiable dependent upon experience - in the region of £30k-£36k
- 20 days annual leave increasing to 25 days
- Annual profit related bonus
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm
ROLE:
As Air Import Clerk you will be responsible for completing end to end air import shipments including:
- quotations
- completing relevant documentation
- customs entries
- liaising with suppliers,
- negotiating rates
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum one year's experience working as Air Import Clerk
- Excellent communicator
- Strong team player
- First class customer service skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Hard working and committed
