Location: East London

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Job Description:

Role Summary: Oversee the daily operations and administration of the Design District community and coworking spaces. Lead and motivate the Community team to provide exceptional service and support.

Main Responsibilities:

Operations and Administration:

  • Manage daily operational and administrative tasks.
  • Handle tenant and member queries, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Oversee community management software (Nexudus), ensuring effective use and troubleshooting.
  • Update and implement policies, procedures, and system settings.
  • Coordinate with accounting for billing and client accounts.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies.
  • Oversee additional revenue streams, like meeting room bookings.
  • Report building defects and maintenance issues.
  • Curate and execute community events with the General Manager.
  • Track expenses and manage budgets.
  • Handle EPOS setup and administration.

Community Management:

  • Supervise the Community team, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Provide accurate information about facilities and services.
  • Coordinate tenant and member onboarding and handovers.
  • Address and resolve tenant and member issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on community initiatives.

Service Delivery:

  • Act as a key ambassador for the community and coworking spaces.
  • Lead daily team briefings and ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • Maintain adequate staffing for reception and coworking areas.
  • Promote and support coworking membership sales.
  • Handle escalated complaints and provide AV equipment assistance.

Feedback and Reporting:

  • Gather data on tenant and member experiences to improve retention.
  • Conduct community surveys and report on needed changes.
  • Manage and report on complaints and conduct exit interviews.
  • Develop NPS surveys for quarterly feedback.

Teamwork and Development:

  • Line manage Front of House and Spaces Coordinator, overseeing their development.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments on events and new offers.
  • Deputize for the General Manager during absences.

Health and Safety:

  • Promote health and safety best practices, including COVID-19 protocols.
