This is a hybrid role.

The business are a successful and growing consumer finance business who are looking to hire a Marketing Manager with strong campaign planning experience. This position will take on a managerial role within the team.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

This role will be responsible for delivering market-leading marketing strategies, communications and campaigns across the entire lifecycle, from acquisition through to customer in-life engagement, renewal and advocacy.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end customer contact strategy for key customer segments; defining, executing and measuring its effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Defining the end-to-end customer marketing plan, developing segment-specific communications strategies to drive customer conversion, retention and engagement.
  • Developing the messaging and marketing plans for key customer needs, business objectives, working with stakeholders on multi-channel communications plans.
  • Developing and executing multi-channel communications and content across the customer lifecycle. You'll work across multiple channels (website, app, account, email, SMS, social, print, partner comms) with the relevant channel owners (Campaigns, CRM, Product) to design and deploy initiatives.
  • Defining and tracking key performance metrics, working with the team to manage performance and reporting, ultimately using data and insights to refine plans.
  • Developing test and learn approaches to continuously improve results across conversion, retention and engagement, addressing segment-specific needs.
  • Working with teams across the business to deliver customer initiatives that deliver on business strategy and key objectives.
  • Creating and tracking budgets for your campaigns, feeding into the budget tracking process and defining annual budget requirements.
  • Inspiring, motivating and supporting the wider team to think, act and deliver their best to execute the strategy.
  • Collaborating with and managing stakeholders and agency partners.

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • Robust track record developing and delivering strategic marketing initiatives that drive acquisition, behaviour-change, engagement, loyalty, and/or retention.
  • Experience in solving complex business problems and/or customer needs through marketing
  • Proven successful experience in developing segmented, personalised, and tailored marketing campaigns from insights
  • Strong experience in evaluating marketing performance and optimising plans
  • Demonstrable experience in developing end-to-end marketing strategies for products or customer segments across the entire lifecycle
  • Demonstrable experience in sharing expertise to up-skill other team members, encouraging creativity and innovation.
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving targets/results through cross-functional, complex projects, focused on organising and bringing people and resources together to achieve objectives.
  • Experience communicating strategies and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Experience managing a team including setting objectives, performance reviews and making prioritisation decisions
  • Experience using one more BI tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Oracle Analytics.
  • Experience working in Agile and using Jira as a Workflow Management tool
  • Experience of directing and managing agency support.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
  • Experience of preparing and managing budgets.
