Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain embedded software for various devices and systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable systems
- Document software design and development processes
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to wider team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Embedded Software Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in C language
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and hardware components
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Desired Experience:
- Exposure to AWS cloud services
- Experience working with Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with JavaScript and its applications in embedded systems
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of security practices in embedded software development
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
