We are looking for a Client Services Officer to join our team in Trafford, in the Housing Benefits team.
Day to Day of the Role
- Conduct high-quality administration and customer services, including financial assessments and awards, in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Accurately assess and determine levels of financial assistance, ensuring all supporting information is obtained and amended in real-time where possible.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to adult social care providers and accurate invoicing to clients.
- Deliver an excellent level of customer service when communicating with residents, businesses, and internal departments.
- Respond efficiently to queries and correspondence, resolving issues promptly to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Process new referrals and manage cases up to the point of appointee/deputy application.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service environment and administration systems within a large organisation.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience of working in a team and achieving collective goals.
- Proficiency in using multiple applications, systems, and associated software packages
- Experience in an Assessments and Client Services role, detailed knowledge of Appointee/Deputyships, and evidence of consistently achieving performance and quality output.
