An established and successful financial planning firm in Darlington is seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join their client servicing team.

The role involves providing administrative support to advisers and assisting Accounts Manager with daily accounting tasks, ensuring a positive professional experience for our clients.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Obtain current fund values for investments and create reports for clients, meeting their expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilise the company's Client Management System for organisation and planning, making the best use of resources.
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and preparing letters to maintain compliance and meet deadlines.
  • Update and check the online diary daily to meet client requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support to advisers, ensuring the highest standard of customer service and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Accounts Manager with daily accounting needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a financial services administration role is preferred, but training will be provided for experienced administrators from an alternative finance background.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Sage Accounting Software.
  • Experience with audio typing.
  • High level of numeracy and accurate typing/data entry skills.
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills, able to create clear and informative emails and letters without templates.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task, and work to deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
