Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint to a Finance Accounting Lead for our Public Sector client in Sheffield.
Purpose of the Job - Assistant Accountant:
- To support the Accountancy Manager in proactively contributing towards the efficient and effective delivery of the organisations strategic objectives
- Preparation and monitoring of Cashflows and Treasury Management
- Accounting for Fixed Assets and Capital spend
- Producing working papers to support the monthly financial reporting and statutory accounts
Key Responsibilities - Finance Accounting Lead
- Support drafting cash flow forecasts
- Maintain fixed assets and capital accounting records
- Provide effective monitoring of capital, treasury management and financial accounting
- Support on Treasury Management
- To monitor capital spend
- Assist with year-end procedures
- To prepare statutory returns
Person Specification- Assistant Accountant:
- AAT Qualified
- A good understanding of accounting
