Network Engineer – 3 - month contract - London
My customer requires an experienced Network Engineer has strong experience with Cisco, LAN/WAN, wireless and firewalls.
The Network Engineer will join a Network team helping out with mostly Network BAU tasks and backfill and Engineer within the business.
The Network Engineer should have strong experience troubleshooting switches and routers using Cisco and experience configuring firewalls (Checkpoint). The Network Engineer should have strong knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless technologies. Configuration, troubleshooting and network administration.
This Network Engineer would be onsite 2 days a week in Canary Wharf for the duration of the 3-month contract.
Primary day to day responsibilities will for the Network engineer will include:
- Previous experience as a Cisco Network Engineer
- Strong Cisco Networking skills (administration, configuration, and troubleshooting)
- Strong technical knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
- Security/firewall experience: – (Checkpoint firewall)
- Strong experience with LAN/WAN and wireless technologies.
- Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Experience with the following would be beneficial: F5 load balancers, NetScaler.
- Relevant Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP etc)
This Network Engineer would be onsite 2 days a week in Canary Wharf for the duration of the 3-month contract.
