I am seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations for a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing financial activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency while supporting the company's growth objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the company's goals.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Work closely with management to share reports and analysis findings.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Oversee cash flow management and develop strategies to optimise financial resources.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the financial health of the organisation.
Required skills & qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mind with good strategic ability.
