our popular school is looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our in-class support staff. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and making a difference in students' lives. You will work in a classroom setting, gain valuable experience, and contribute to our students' education daily.
Day to Day of the role:
- Supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Assist students with completing assigned work and provide additional support when needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to teachers on class activities and student progress.
- Observe and learn from teaching practices to enhance your own educational skills.
- Be linked to one of the core subject areas: English, Maths, or Science.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Learning Support Assistant is advantageous (training will be provided).
- A dedication to student success and serving as a positive role model.
- Commitment to the school's ethos: Work Hard, Be Nice, No Excuses.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different teaching arrangements.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary within Pay Level 4/5, Pay point 8-23 (Actual salary Fringe).
- Term-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm).
- 38 weeks term time plus 5 INSET days (39 weeks in total).
