My client is on the look out for an IT Service Specialist to be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.
As an IT Service Desk Specialist (Level I), you will be the frontline for IT support, providing a first-class, excellent service to stakeholders. Your role will involve executing IT demand management processes, triaging new requests, providing first-line support, and escalating issues as necessary. You will enjoy solving practical problems, working within agreed timescales, and collaborating with your team and stakeholders.
IT Service Specialist - Key Responsibilities
- Execution of IT demand management processes (incidents, service requests, etc.)
- Triage of new requests to the IT Service Desk
- First line support for all IT Service Desk requests through to resolution or escalation
- Attempted resolution of uncommon requests that are not fully documented but within confidence and authority level
- Escalation to IT Service Specialist (II) for requests that require more specialized knowledge
- Creation of draft knowledgebase articles from learnings
- "Hands on" support of IT assets, where appropriate and required
IT Service Specialist - About You:
- You will take pride in providing a first class, excellent service to stakeholders
- Enjoy problem solving practical issues
- Be comfortable working to and achieving outcomes within agreed timescales
- Enjoy collaborating as part of a team, whilst also working on your own initiative
- Be a strong communicator and enjoy building trusted and supportive relationships with stakeholders
- Ideally you will have 4 years' experience working in IT support/service
