Reporting and Governance Manager - INSIDE IR35 - 6 months

Reporting and Governance Manager for a 6 months assignment, you will be required on-site 3 days per week in Kings cross.

We need someone who can create and present reports to the directors. You will need to speak to senior stakeholders to get data and validate what goes into the report and what the data/report is telling people. To maintain timely and high quality, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting across the function.

  • Lead business requirements into technical specification and solutions to improve data and reporting robustness and accessibility through more efficient working.
  • Lead the design, build and deployment of business intelligence reports and dashboards using artificial intelligence tools to support portfolio, programme and project assurance.
  • Develop user guidance to support embedding and usage of technology interventions and reporting to allow the executive team to make informed decisions for the programme portfolio and projects.
  • Develop risk and issue mitigation in respect of systems and requirement issues.
  • Develop new strategies and reporting procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow.
  • Manage, direct and coordinate in-house reporting / IT experts and remote employees, vendors and contractors.
  • Good communications skills internally and upwards, diligence, attention to detail, ability to take ownership of reporting process and summarise and present information well
  • Lead the required portfolio-level reporting process, including sourcing, reviewing, and preparing reporting information for periodic and quarterly governance reviews, and other ad-hoc reports where required
  • Drive portfolio reports production to time, developing an efficient reporting cycle.
  • Maintain established Project Performance Reporting (PPR) system and KPI Reporting pack for use by Programme Controls Director.
  • Provide PPR reporting via Oracle Projects.
  • Maintain baseline integrity of P3e programmes in the business plan and track change and performance across assets.
  • Support the development and implementation of Oracle Change Management requests.
  • Degree or HND equivalent in construction or engineering related subject.
  • Relevant successful experience in the management, planning and delivery of major construction and engineering projects.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
