Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for an interim Senior Management Accountant for a reputable and growing SME business and one of the leading organisations in their field. Reporting to the Financial controller, the main purpose of the role is to produce the monthly management accounts, working closely with FC, CFO and department heads, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial data and delivering continuous improvement alongside excellent financial analysis to the business.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Pack to agreed deadlines
- Preparation and posting of all month end accrual, prepayment and re-classification journals
- Work on P&L, Cash flow forecasting, and profitability analysis
- Revenue, overhead and cost variance analysis
- Preparation of departmental and ad hoc reporting
- Balance Sheet review
You will be:
- A Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of producing Management Accounts in the private sector - must be hands on with journal postings, payment runs.
- Good analytical skills and a strong systems background and Sage will prove to be highly advantageous.
- With offices in Crawley, the firm offer a hybrid work pattern of 3 days per week in the office in Crawley, 2 days WFH.
For your experience and knowledge with the above, you will be rewarded with a day rate of £375 - 450.00 inside IR35.
