A market leading financial client based in London require an accomplished Admin Assistant to join them for an exciting and challenging engagement.

Job Title: Admin Assistant

Duration: 6 months fixed term assignment

Location: London (on site only)

Start: Immediately

Salary: Circa £38k/ Annum extensive benefits (as below)

Experience and Skills required:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability of dealing with staff and clients
  • Strong planning and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong work ethics, reliability and discretion.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Flexible with strong initiative and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Professional appearance and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Problem solving capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management and planning which involves working closely and proactively with internal/external senior personal assistants.
  • Ensure the team members have all necessary papers/are briefed ahead of meetings.
  • Organize international travel including booking flights, transfers, accommodation, meetings and dinners and managing the itinerary to ensure that overseas offices and external parties are kept aware of changes to the schedule.
  • Organising client entertainment and conferences
  • Liaising internally with management team and compliance to ensure all pre-approvals are granted on time and in adherence to Bank policies and protocol.
  • Provide full secretarial cover including scanning, printing, telephone cover, raising technology/facilities requests.
  • Handling expenses using Concur System.
  • Processing vendor invoices, ensuring they are coded against the correct cost centre.
  • "Onboarding" new joiners in the team - ensuring the workplace and systems are set up as required**.**
